Sunday, July 13, Calvary Baptist Church (Bayswater, VIC)/Graceway Baptist Church (Footscray, VIC)

Sunday was an amazing day to serve the lord. We started our day at Calvary Bible Baptist where we had 3 different services. For Sunday school, Dr. Cirone spoke on Joshua and reminded us just how we needed to remain strong and courageous. In the morning service, the team sang a special and Christina and Andrew gave their testimonies. Alex spoke on restoration of relationships out of Philemon. After his message we had wonderful food and fellowship with the church family at Calvary Bible Baptist where we were served all types of Filipino dishes and desserts, which were very delicious. The afternoon service began shortly after we ate where I was able to preach, but before that Kelina and Bella gave their testimonies which were such a blessing. I spoke on finding our identity in Christ rather than the world and had the opportunity to share my testimony at the end of my message which resulted in our whole team shedding tears. Our ministry to Pastor Manny and Calvary Baptist were both impactful to them as well as us.
Sunday night, we went to Pastor Josh Zachariah’s Bible study where we sang multiple songs, Jaina and Mattie gave their testimonies, and Andrew brought a devotional on abiding in Christ. We went to KFC and then went grocery shopping where we bought kangaroo to try for lunch the next day. We ended our night with great homemade hot chocolate made by Mattie.
