Monday, July 14, Josh & Ira Zacharias (Seddon/Footscray, VIC)
Alex: Hey y’all, after such a busy Sunday, we took Monday to rest a little bit having nothing on the agenda until 11 AM. This gave many of us time to sleep in, call home, and just have a relaxing morning (something that has alluded us for quite some time lol).
Andrew led devotions for the team and then we all enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by Mattie. In addition to the spaghetti and garlic bread that Mattie made, I took on the role of Master Chef and cooked some kangaroo–it was actually pretty good ( Kelina gave it a hopping 8/10)!! After lunch we packed into the van to help Josh and Ira Zacharias letterbox for their new church plant “Graceway Baptist Church.”
After an afternoon of letterboxing, we met in Pastor Josh’s apartment and took ample time to pray for the copies of John, Romans, and church invitations we handed out and placed in peoples letterboxes. We finished the day with dinner at Roza’s diner and then a trip to the 89th floor of the Melbourne Skydeck.
