Friday, July 18, Young Adults Camp (Alexandra, Victoria)
Mattie gives us today’s update… Well, 3 weeks in and we’re thriving here at the Young Adults Camp. First thing in the morning, some of us had the opportunity to serve in the kitchen with Miss Miria. Immediately after breakfast was the second session of the weekend, preached by Pastor Brenton.
After that, we had some free time to fellowship with other adults our ages, the weather was perfect for walks too!
After lunch, we had another session by Pastor Frank, followed by some more free time. Some of us went into town, others stayed back and fellowshipped on site.
After dinner, and a very bad game of chess (on my end) we had our last session of the day, brought by Dr. Cirone on having the mind of a Doulos servant, like Christ.
Following the session was a hymn sing, all the older Great Hymns of the Faith, featuring Amazing Grace. It was truly a blessing.
After a few more games, we all went to bed, excited about the last day of camp ahead of us.
